The IMVR (Institute of Medical Sociology, Health Services Research and Rehabilitation Science) is a joint scientific institution of the Faculty of Human Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Cologne. It was founded in 2009. In the institute we combine several scientific disciplines with a broad theoretical and empirical expertise.

With the help of our scientific work, we aim to improve the health care system by defining interrelationships and transferring findings into practice.
