Tim Ohnhäuser
Profile
Tim Ohnhaeuser studied Political Science, Contemporary History and Sociology at Muenster University and graduated in 2008 (Magister Artium).
He worked as a research assistant at the Institute for History, Theory and Ethics of Medicine in Aachen (RWTH University). After his research in the field of History of Medicine, from 2013 until 2016 he did empirical and social science work in a project focusing on the physician’s role in the prenatal diagnosis counseling process.
Since 2017, he has been working as a research associate at the Institute of Medical Sociology, Health Services Research and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Cologne. Here, he initially worked on the Innovation Fund project MAU-PD, which investigated the care situation of dialysis patients. Since 2021, he has been coordinating the NEO-MILK project, also funded by the Innovation Fund, on the care of premature infants with breast milk, and is involved in the COVID-GAMS project, which deals with the view of physicians in private practice on the COVID 19 pandemic (for more information, see Research Projects).
