Profile
Dr. phil. Ibrahim Demirer focuses on methodological challenges in causal inference. His research examines processes of health inequality, particularly in the context of multimorbidity, climate change, poverty, and societal crises.
Since 2024, he has been affiliated with the Center for Health Communication and Health Services Research (CHSR) at the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy, University Hospital Bonn.
At the Institute of Medical Sociology, Health Services Research, and Rehabilitation Science (IMVR), he serves as a methodological advisor within the Innovation Fund–funded project “Online Access to Clinical Treatment Notes for Outpatients (OpenNOTES)” in the inVersorgung research group.
