Anna-Lisa Tigges studied the dual Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nursing (B.Sc.) at the University of Cologne from 2017 to 2022, as part of which she also completed her training as a nurse at the University Hospital of Cologne. From 2022 to 2024, she completed the Master’s degree programme in Healthcare Science (M.Sc.), also at the University of Cologne.

During her master’s degree, she worked as a student assistant at the IMVR and supported data collection and analysis in the MOVE-ONKO project. She also worked at the University Hospital of Cologne as a registered nurse, primarily on the haematology/oncology wards.

Since January 2023, Anna-Lisa Tigges has been a research associate at the “inVersorgung“ research group. She is responsible for qualitative data collection and analysis in the Patient Power project, which is funded by the Innovation Fund and focuses on patient empowerment through patient advocacy and complaint management in hospitals. In the Open Notes project, which is also funded by the Innovation Fund and examines the impact of patient access to medical treatment notes, she is responsible for the quantitative evaluation of the patient survey.
