After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Health Economics in 2016, Alinda Reimer continued her studies with a master’s degree in health service science at the University of Cologne.

During her studies she worked in a project called MAU-PD which deals with the causes of the low prevalence of peritoneal dialysis in Germany. Thematically inspired by the project, she wrote her master’s thesis: An analysis of everyday burdens and support options of dialysis patients with regard to psychosocial stress based on qualitative interviews.

Since June 2019 she operates as a research associate at the IMVR in the working group LiVE, where she works in the publicly funded project Neo-CamCare. This study aims to evaluate the use of webcams in neonatal intensive care units.Anja Rotthowe studied at the rehabilitation sciences faculty at the Technical University of Dortmund. She graduated 2017 with a master’s degree in rehabilitation sciences. Afterwards she was employed as scientific assistant for the exam and study coordination office of the rehabilitation sciences faculty at the Technical University of Dortmund. In 2020 she started working as a research assistant for the project “Barriers upon the establishment of and care in medical care centres for adults with disabilities (MZEB): A nationwide study following the stakeholder approach” (BEta). In March 2022 she transferred to the institute for medicine sociology, health care research and rehabilitation sciences (University of Cologne) along with the ”BEta” project.
