Kurzbiographie

Frau Dr. Nadine Scholten ist seit Oktober 2018 stellvertretende Institutsleitung des IMVR und Leitung der Arbeitsgruppe „Leistungserbringung in der Versorgungsforschung (LiVe)“. Hierin angesiedelt sind Drittmittelgeförderte Forschungsprojekte (BMBF, Innovationsfonds des G-Ba) z.B. aus dem Bereich der Neonatologie, der Infektiologie oder auch der Allgemeinmedizin. Schwerpunkt der Forschungstätigkeit ist die Implementierung von Innovationen, die Qualität der Versorgung aus Sicht der Patient*innen, Angehörigen und Leistungserbringern, wie auch die Erfassung von Versorgungsdefiziten auf regionaler Ebene. Ein Schwerpunkt bildet dabei die organisationale Versorgungsforschung im Setting Krankenhaus mit der Fokussierung auf mögliche Einflussfaktoren bezogen auf das organisationale Handeln.

Das Methodenspektrum umfasst qualitative, wie auch quantitative Methoden, rund um Primär- und Sekundärdaten (GKV-Daten, DRG-Statistik).

Als kommissarische Leitung der Abteilung „Medizinsoziologie“ war Frau Dr. Scholten von April 2016 bis August 2017 für die Lehre im Bereich der Medizinsoziologie an der Universität zu Köln verantwortlich.

Frau Dr. Scholten ist Mitglied im DNVF e.V., in der DGMS und in der AGENS (Arbeitsgruppe zu Nutzung von Sekundärdaten).
